Facebook Ruins People's Lives

Remember that time you and your boyfriend broke up and you thought it would be an awesome idea to just peruse his facebook wall and saw that some stupid blonde girl had written something like "it was good seeing you today ;) xoxo" and you couldn't get out of bed for 2 days because of the anguish you felt over this girl's message. Your thoughts were something like "Why, God, why? Why does he love this stupid girl and not me? Everyone knows that a winky  face emoticon means 'thanks for the sex'"!"
This may be a little bit of an exaggeration, but the things that we put ourselves through in the name of naive curiosity it ridiculous. Break ups are called break ups for a reason. You are broken, and you cannot be fixed, so while you are trying to adjust yourself to that, do yourself a favor and stop doing the emotional equivalent to purposely slamming your hand in a car door.Really though, Facebook is a life ruiner, it ruins people's lives.
Detach yourself, unfriend them, talk about how the blonde girl is really not very pretty, buy some new clothes, find a nice celebrity to obsess over (I enjoy Matt Damon myself.).
DO NOT  under any circumstances, watch anything based on a Nicholas Sparks book, all of your hard work will be negated.

Traffic in this snow today was insane, check it out....

Just kidding, that is somewhere in Canada, but still it was awful. Also, I would like to point out, winter has not even officially begun. Around 6 p.m. it did stop snowing
Pro: the snow has stopped
Con: it is 17 degrees outside

I am now going to drink some ovaltine, eat some chips and salsa and read InStyle with the hopes that I will actually be inspired to write something interesting.

Narcassism

My dear friend Dave is starting a book club and has threatened to not let me in unless I start a blog. So here I am doing the most narcassistic thing I can think of and filling the internet with ramblings about my fairly boring life. (That is a lie, Dave made no such threat.)

Truth be told, as I reflect on this past year I see that I am almost a completely different person from who I have been in the past and who people may have known me to be. This will be my way of explaining myself.
Let's see how long I keep this up.
